The Project
Ovingham Level Crossing Removal project’s objective was to separate the rail line from the road (grade separation) at the Torrens Road level crossing, which improved safety for all road users (motorists, cyclists and pedestrians). For this project, Hallett used their Enviro Construct Concrete and was able to replace 50% of GP Cement with a blend of Flyash and Slag to reduce carbon emissions.
